ABOUT ME

The Keginal Co was built from determination, creativity, and countless hours of refusing to give up on an idea that most people would never have imagined.

Back in 2019, while working in plumbing and raising kids as a stay-at-home mum, I had a vision to transform stainless steel beer kegs into something completely different. What became the original “Keginal” didn’t happen overnight — the very first urinal took months of designing, cutting, testing, redesigning, and starting over until I finally got it right. There were failures, frustrations, and plenty of moments where giving up would have been easier… but I believed in the idea too much to stop.

In November 2019, The Keginal Co officially came to life.

After designing the original Keginal came the Kegatrough — a breakthrough product for pet owners. I wanted to create something durable, practical, and unique for people who were tired of constantly refilling water bowls or replacing cheap plastic products.

More recently, “Tap That” Backyard Basins joined the product line — bringing the same handcrafted stainless steel design into outdoor entertaining spaces, workshops, gardens, man caves, and backyards. Built to be practical, eye-catching, and different from anything else out there, the basins became another way to turn recycled beer kegs into functional statement pieces.

Every product you see has been solely designed and created by me. I carefully source and decommission every keg myself, selecting only quality kegs before transforming them into handcrafted pieces built to last.

The Keginal Co represents more than stainless steel products. It represents resilience, creativity, and proving that even with limited resources, a busy household, and a dream that sounded a little crazy, you can still build something incredible from the ground up.

What started as one idea in the backyard became a growing Australian brand built with passion, persistence, and hard work.
